Furthermore, over the past decade the jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice has opened up the possibility for businesses to incorporate in one Member State and conduct their business activity either partly or entirely in another Member State.
The term "business register" comprises the national commercial registers, companies' registers, and any other register storing company information and making it available to the public within the meaning of Directive 2009/101/EC.
