NDEW - EV EXPO San Jacinto 2024
NDEW - EV EXPO San Jacinto 2024 was an amazing event. Our event was held at Mt. San Jacinto College in the City of San Jacinto, California. This event was a first for the city of San Jacinto. We were fortunate to have an amazing group of students from Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School's Engineering & Design (CED) in Long Beach, California. Engineering & Design (CED) is a four-year, rigorous, high-tech, specialized program designed for students who have an interest in the field of engineering and design. The students bought The Switch Lab, a hands-on, professional training lab, where they will get experience by learning, building, testing, and then driving the finished Switch EV as a complete project-based learning process.
Javier Enriquez, Sr Public Affairs Specialist, from the South Coast Air Quality Management District was also present to provide information about electric vehicles and information on air quality issues of Southern California.
Me and my co-host Robert Betancourt Jr. are grateful to the volunteers who assisted with the set-up our event. We could not have done it with out them.
We enjoyed being a participant of the national outreach campaign to expose our community to the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
We are also grateful to Plug In America for supporting our local event in collaboration with it’s national and regional organizers for their sponsorship of 2024 National Drive Electric Week.
