Working with account editions

Each account in an organization has a specific Snowflake edition that determines its available features and level of service.

As the organization administrator, you can check the account edition in Snowsight or using SQL:

Snowsight:

Select Admin » Accounts.

SQL:

Execute the SHOW ACCOUNTS command.

If you would like to change an account’s edition, contact Snowflake Support.

Tip

If users who are not an organization administrator want to view the edition of the account, they can do the following:

  1. Open Snowsight, and then open the user menu.

  2. Locate and hover over the name of the account to view the edition and other details.
