Green screen issue after iOS update on iPhone

Anyone facing green screen issue after recent iOS updates? I contacted customer support and my case was handled by Akash. He told me that he also use iPhone and he's not facing such issues after iOS update. I also gave him Apple community forum link where a customer had posted an image in which it was mentioned he was given a free display replacement for such issue. For that he told anyone can simply put in Apple Community Forum. Also, I was told by him that any manufacturing defects arising after warranty period should be bared by the customer, though it is due to iOS update.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

@SravanKrA, a colleague of my cousin faced the same issue on iPhone 13 just after iOS 18 update. in that case whom should we blame for the display going green ? we don't have any details on the internals of Apple devices. Multiple users are impacted till date (from apple community forum). I called iPlanet Care and the customer support executive for attending calls was aware of this issue, which marks this issue is famous by now. I believe this has impacted multiple customers and Apple Support doesn't have a concrete solution for the issue. At last it's a min crowd which is impacted, which will not be visible to Leaders at Apple.

No one here can fix it. Take it an Apple Store for diagnose or contact Apple Support for remote diagnosis. Get the issue documented by Apple Support. They will create a support ticket with a number. Get the support ticket number and escalate the issue to tier 2 support.
