Is there any way to revert back to the old Photos version?
I really don’t like the new photos section on the recent upgrade. Is there anyway to revert back to the old version?

You could try to configure the new Photos according to your needs, as much as possible. On iOS 18 it is much easier than before to customize the appearance and to hide collections that we do not want to use. See this page in the user guide: Customize the Photos app on iPhone – Apple Support (UK) (particularly the paragraphs about the collections, how to rearrange them and how to pin the collections we want to use and how to hide the ones we do not need).
I did not like the new layout either at first, but I like the flexibility and managed to break in to my needs,
