Apple TV App Won't Launch

I have a Samsung Smart TV - why does Apple TV app keep saying "network unavailable - there were errors with this connection, wait a moment, then try again"?


I've tried unplugging the TV, turned it off and back on, reset my router, made sure my Apple account is up to date.
