2 factor auth suddenly not required?

For years any time I sign in to appstoreconnect to manage my apps, I type a password and then receive a verification code on one or more of my devices (mac, iphone, etc.). For some reason this week the password seems to be the only thing required. After typing it I am immediately logged in without receiving a verification (6-digit) code to type in as well.

I have not (consciously at least) changed anything that would have caused this lesser security to be acceptable. 2 factor auth is still turned on for this same login on my iphone (fyi).

Any idea why it isn't required now?
