MacBook Won’t Restart Fully

So my MacBook randomly just turned off and showed a black screen so I decided to restart it and it won’t fully restart and finish the process because it just stays in the middle and it doesn’t move and one time it did fully restart but then it just like went black again when I signed in but now whenever I try to restart it just stays in the middle and doesn’t move. i’ve also tried just turning it off and let it sit off and then try later but it still doesn’t work
