How to solve "http changing to https" in Safari causing error?

I understand that by adding the S to http, we gain the security advantages of the “Secure Socket Layer.” But I have a problem. When I copy a link that has no S after http and paste it into WhatsApp, for example, when that link is clicked, the S is automatically added in the browser and consequently the "Safari can not open the page" appears. But when the S is manually deleted in Safari's location field, the page becomes accessible. Is there some way to avoid this problem?
