Length of Sequence in FCPX

I have an arduous task of editing footage of 24 hours long duration in 8 parts.

As I have edited the 1st part which is 3 hours long & shared it for making a copy, I have encountered an issue which is eating my time. The video stops at around 1:25 mins , although I can see the entire duration of the video is 2:29 mins on the playhead. It doesn't play beyond that. Also, what is the maximum sequence length permitted in FCPX?

I am on Mac Studio M1 & FCPX Ver 10.6.8

Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

P.S. Putting too fine of a point on it, there are no "sequences" in FCP. There are Projects that we open in the Timeline pane. And no, there's no limit of a Project duration. Feature films have been on in FCP that are 2+ hours long.

The rest I defer to Luis, who I think is on the right path here. System drive must have at least 15% of its capacity left as free space (and it's just good housekeeping for non-system drives, also), or you'll get all sorts of wacky behaviors.

What do you call plenty of disk space, specifically?

In the Timeline, Alt-X will deselect ranges and everything, then export. If it is cutting you off at 1:25, something is really off about that.
