How to fix static noise on AirPods after water damage?

My AirPods Max, sky blue. I had them since February 2024. In my boarding school I was showering, I put my AirPods behind the tal on the sink, they slipped through and fell in the basin not knowing the tap was automatic, the tap was running on my ear cushion I put them in silica gel, now they restart and disconnect and may have static sounds, Similar experience to my AirPods Pro (1st Generation) but static noise.
