Sonoma 14.5 login page freez and restart MacBook M1

macbook pro stuck loading in after logging on my MacBook decided to not fully start up. After I put in my password and hit enter it goes to the usual loading bar but stops somewhere between 5%. After few seconds Mac will restart.

I have tried booting up in safe mode, but it does the same thing. And I have also tried to reinstall the os which didn't help either.

I am running Sonoma. Don't know what else I can try but any help is appreciated.

You can try running First Aid on your Mac's Disk. Go into recovery mode, and select Disk Utility. Select the disks you would like to run First Aid on. Although you have reinstalled MacOS, I would still recommend running First Aid on both the OS Disk, and the Disk that stores your data. Once you've done this, simply restart your computer.

My explanation is quite vague, but you can find a more detailed guide with images on Apple's site: How to repair a Mac disk with Disk Utility – Apple Support (UK)

Hope this helps. If this doesn't work, I'd strongly recommend going in to your local Genius Bar.
