Hi,
To begin with, have you checked whether the printer firmware has been updated?

Any change if you try the following power-cycle procedure (do not forget the router)?
Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the iPhone, any iPads and Macs, and all other computers/devices. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Power on any iPads and Macs. Finally, power on all other computers/devices.
AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections. An AirPrint printer (such as the Brother MFC-L2705DW) that has Ethernet could be wired to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router instead of using a wireless connection, if you so wish just for a comparative test. With the printer wired by Ethernet, some of the problems related to Wi-Fi may be avoided. The iPhone would of course connect wirelessly to the router.

Thank you for the information. Normally, it ought to be possible to print from an iPhone via AirPrint without a special app, but that may require updated printer firmware. Anyway, glad to hear that the iPrint&Scan app worked.
Thanks a lot Jan. By adding Brother’s iprint$scan app, I was able to print from my cell phone. Much appreciated for your input,
