The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources’ Department of Environmental Conservation announces an update to the State's PFAS Roadmap, outlining continued efforts to address PFAS sources and contamination and to protect the well-being of Vermont residents.
DEC’s updated PFAS Roadmap focuses on four key areas to address PFAS:
- Reduce or Eliminate PFAS in Commercial Products and Industrial Uses
- Identify Sources of PFAS Exposure in Vermont
- Protect Vermonters from Existing Exposures to PFAS
- Encourage EPA to Provide National Leadership on the Management of PFAS
