Shannen Doherty has shared a difficult development with her health, revealing that her Stage 4 cancer has spread to her bones, but she remains optimistic, saying “I”m not done yet.”
In a video posted today on Instagram, the 52-year-old actress best known for Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed said “We’re on a really good regiment right now and it’s working well for me, so day by day, month by month, year by year.”
Doherty shared more details in an interview with People, vowing that she will keep moving forward. “I’ don’t want to die,” she told the publication. “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better,” adding, “I’m just not — I’m not done.”
Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, but after undergoing treatment she went into remission by 2017. She announced in a 2020 GMA interview it had returned as Stage 4 cancer and in June she revealed the cancer had spread to her brain.
