In this session, experts from The Global Data Barometer and The World Bank will share their perspectives on how open data can be used to address pressing global challenges. You’ll learn about the Global Data Barometer’s innovative tool, which assesses how countries around the world govern, release, and use data for the public good focusing on areas such as climate action, health, and public finance. The World Bank will also introduce key resources like their Microdata Library, which provides microdata on developing countries, and their Poverty and Inequality Platform, an interactive computational tool that offers users quick access to the World Bank’s estimates of poverty, inequality, and shared prosperity.
