Excuse me can I post your military Russian vehicle my version with my star?
Hey I like to watch anything Russian and like seeing when someone covers their food stores. I noticed Russian like to pickled everything maybe you can add something like that to your foods, also caviar. I also seen they do some stuff with pine cones as food and drink, here in the US they are a nuances. Could you give me how do you eat or drink them when you got time?
Pine cones? They make very interesting and unusual jam (to be noticed - here jam is usually made with whole berries/fruits, not macerated). Pine cones becomes soft and crunchy during the process. Also, "birch juice" is a thing here.
Pickling... Pickling is a long-standing trend in Russian cuisine, since, I guess, Imperial times. Along with long-standing tradition of having vegetable garden whenever you can (as they say here, becoming fond of gardening is a sign of adaulthood). So, yes, the art of pickling is a thing here, on a scale you can hardly imagine - for example, my home region's unique product is pickled watermelons. However, my favourite are cucumbers, pickled with dill and garlic, made by my aunt.))) Today it became a bit less common, since you can buy them at store. Anyway, it's hard to find someone here, who is older then 25 - and has no gardening expirience.
Thanx for the info. I've been studying Russia and try to look around all the propaganda here in the West and now love it. It has many things about it that is superior to the West and if I was young I would probably try to move there and become a citizen. Now I'm a old fart and my declining years and in bad heath I just hope I don't live to se the final decline in the US!🤗
I hope we won't see a sight, that would make me recite old The Ink Spots songs, like, "Maybe" or "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire".
Love your work, hope to see more of the food and tools and stuff like that. Also military stuff as well. Did the Soviet Union use C-Rations (Canned Meal) like the US and other countries during WW2. You did some MRE but I just love the old stuff since I'm old myself!🇸🇮
