Legacy Society

The National Constitution Center’s Legacy Society recognizes those individuals who advise us that they have made a commitment in their estate plans to ensure that the Center’s important mission will carry on with future generations. Legacy Society members enjoy special recognition (unless they request to remain anonymous, though we appreciate the opportunity to honor them publicly) and exclusive opportunities each year to attend the Center’s premier gatherings. They also have the opportunity to engage in periodic private briefings with NCC President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen and the senior executive team on strategic projects and Center initiatives.

Establishing a simple bequest in your will or making the Center a beneficiary of a trust, a retirement account asset, or a life insurance policy is one of the best ways to ensure your legacy lives on through the Center’s vital work—and that this work is ensured of long-term financial stability.

Through an unrestricted or restricted planned gift, you may support the Center’s Endowment Fund that is professionally managed and invested toward our long-term goals, or direct your gift to the Annual Operating Fund to meet the Center’s immediate needs at the time your gift is realized. More information, and suggested language as a starting point to share with your legal or tax adviser, can be found here.

Please contact Vice President of Strategy & Development Lauren Sylling, [email protected], if you would like to discuss and explore planned giving options, particularly if you are considering designating a gift for a specific purpose, or consider filling out this form if you would like us to know about an existing planned gift to the Center.

"The National Constitution Center is an invaluable resource in understanding the Constitution and its impact on the lives of all citizens. At a time when political discourse is defined by polarization, the podcasts, in particular, connect me directly to a debate that is civil, informative, and balanced."
