IPhone 13 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly on active calls

I’ve had my earphones for years now and nothing has went wrong until recently in which I started to get connection issues. It seems to be fine until I go on call where it repeatedly connects and disconnects my earphones. I’ve tried things like restarting my iPhone, forgetting the devices etc but had no success. Any help would me much appreciated!
