Right AirPod Audio coming out of the Left AirPod

For some reason the audio of the right AirPod seems to be coming out the left as when I played the sound to locate the AirPods on the “Find My” app, audio was coming out of the left AirPod but not the right for some reason until I turned off the audio for the left which made me realize that audio was still coming out of it after I turned it off. It was only until I shut off the right audio that it completely stopped. So it seems that all of the audio is now being directed towards the left AirPod, is there anyway I can fix this?
