  1. Go to System Preferences and select the Keyboard submenu.
  2. Navigate to the Text tab and hit the + button to add a new shortcut.
  3. Add the Shortcut to the “Replace” column, and the full email address to the “With” column.

This works fine when using it in a text message, etc. But if you want to enter it into a form requesting an email, it won't work. I'm assuming that in this process the form/site/login is expecting an email, not a short text label that converts to email looking text. Why can I not just make it a keyboard function using , say F19 ??

You can try using a macro app like Keyboard Maestro. One can program an F key or key combination (like Control+e) to enter the email address.

The App Store has a number of macro apps, some free and some with in app purchases. I use KM as it's the most powerful of the macro apps and can do just about anything you can do with a programmed key combination.

Go to the App Store and search for "macro".
