Can I request money to be sent to my Apple Pay via a link?

Is there a link I could use to request money to be sent to my apple pay? My dream would be to have a clickable link on a website which would enable others to pay me via apple pay an amount of their choosing. Think of it as a wat to collect tips.

This link is something that a developer would place on their website.

Are talking about Apple Pay or Apple Cash. These are two entirely different products/services. Apple Cash is a peer to peer way of sending another person cash/funds. A credit card is not involved in any transaction.

Apple Pay is an extremely secure way for a customer to pay a business transaction. Apple Pay involves using a virtual card in your Apple Wallet on an iPhone.

You add funds to your Apple Cash account from your bank account or by having family and friends send you funds using Apple Messages app. I’m sharing two links below to Apple Support articles that explain how to add funds to Apple Cash. Apple Pay is not an account and you cannot deposit funds into Apple Pay.

Thanks for the link and I'll check out the terms and conditions later but on its face your statement does not make much sense to me.

Technically, if it’s for products or services, it’s not permitted. Apple Cash accounts are personal accounts and can’t involve business related transactions. Please review the Terms & Conditions for Apple Cash.

It seems like you say that we can't use apple pay for products, services or business related transactions? What does that leave apply pay for? Personal accounts what does that mean, could you provide an example of a valid transaction? Color me confused. Maybe I'm mixing up apple cash with apple pay?

Apple Pay is the broader term for Apple’s payments platform. Apple Cash is one component enabled by Apple Pay. Apple Cash allows for the transfer of funds between individuals, just like using cash. It’s gets more conflated as merchants can accept Apple Cash if they accept Apple Pay. But, individuals cannot technically use Apple Cash for business transactions. So, while you can send your friend $20 for dinner, you’re technically not allowed to give someone $20 in Apple Cash to mow the lawn. The use case that you provided violates the T&C of Apple Cash.
