I cannot download OBS Studio onto my new iMac
I have two iMacs , this one is on Ventura 13.3.1 and I cannot download OBS Studio to it. My older iMac on Catalina 10.15.7 I can download and use. Why?

I found a possible cause/solution.
The Mac download link on the OBS website downloads the Apple Silicon (processor) version of the software, which won't work on Macs with an Intel processor.
I went to the OBS Github page and found the link to download the Intel processor version of the software and it installed fine. Hope this helps!

The ARM64 version cannot possibly run on El Capitan. If the software says it isn’t compatible, then it isn’t compatible. There is nothing you can do to change that. For El Capitan, you might try finding an older version that will work on older macOS versions.
Really no idea without more details.
It won’t download or won’t install?
Any error messages?
Intel or Apple Silicon iMac?
What are the system requirements for OBS Studio (do you have a link?).
Make sure to download the ARM64 version if you have an Apple silicon Mac.
Thanks I'll have a go
OK i'll look out the info for you
3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7. It loads onto my older iMac OK
It downloads with a 'no entry' sign through it and when I try to open it, it says "this application is not supported on this Mac"
FWIW, I had no problem, downloading and running OBS on my iMac Pro with Ventura 13.3.1.
I downloaded the ARM64 I'm running OS X EL Capitan early 2013(The following images couldn't be open). Thats what keeps popping out. It won't make me download it.
Please need help ASAP.
