    Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1-2PM ET

    Acute to Chronic Pain Signatures (A2CPS) program, which aims to assess and develop potential biomarkers into biosignatures and discover new ones related to the transition from acute to chronic pain following surgery. In this talk presenters discussed the goals of A2CPS, including a description of the datatypes collected and how to access data. They also discussed how a new researcher may go about accessing Common Fund resources, such as the data that will be released by A2CPS, to investigate a novel scientific inquiry utilizing cloud platforms and other tools made available to the CFDE.     The Common Fund Data Ecosystem’s launch of its Public Webinar Series was held on Friday, April 26th. This was the first event in a webinar series that will bring together various programs of the CFDE to the broader biomedical and behavioral community. The first webinar featured:

    • An Overview of the CFDE Program – presented by NIH Program Officers
    • Metabolomics Workbench/National Metabolomics Data Repository: the bridge to the missing "ome" in systems biology and medicine – presented by Shankar Subramaniam and Mano Maurya
    • An Introduction to the CFDE Knowledge Center Portal – presented by Noël Burtt, Broad Institute
