Thank you all for a great contest!

Most contest judges found it really difficult to decide - there were so many delightful entries and quite a range of votes! We've enjoyed each and every entry - lots of laughs and amazing art too - and we hope that everyone had fun with it!

Please realise that Rynndig took on the massive task of assigning ALL styles to participants!

(thank you also to mods who'd contributed styles to add to the pool) And big thanks to our buddies

Judges were:

We'd each pick our top 5, in order. A 1st place was given 5 points, 2nd place was 4 points, etc. and then we'd total the judges' scores to determine the winners. So the more times an entry appeared in the top 5, the more likely it was to place, and also if it appeared high in a judge's list, it had an advantage points-wise. It really was hard to decide what to pick, and there were so many inventive and cute entries!

THEME

Draw a portrait of Klayton or Bret in a particular artistic style! To enter, simply leave a comment on this journal, mention whether it’s for Klayton or Bret (or both), and we’ll add you to the list, and randomly assign a style to you (by picking them out of a hat). Hopefully you’ll find this fun and a bit of a challenge, too!

EXAMPLES: If you signed up for Klayton and got the style “Sonic the Hedgehog” from us, then you could come up with something like this: spyhedg.deviantart.com/art/Kla…
If you signed up for Bret and got the style “My Little Pony” from us, then you could come up with something like this: niles-prower.deviantart.com/ar…

(Note: My Little Pony and Sonic styles will not be in the running, since they were done so well already x3 )

As you can see, the examples we’re giving are limited to what people have already done, but we’re trying to come up with at least 30 interesting and varied art styles.

RULES

Entries are unlimited, but you have to have completed your first pic before you sign up and get another style.

You can sign up for Klayton and Bret simultaneously, but you would get a different style for each one – it wouldn’t be one style for the both of them.

Just a note: If you are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE or HATE your style assignment or something feel free to note me (Rynndig) and request a style change! Just remember, I will still randomly draw a style/theme for you to keep it fair...

It needs to be art specifically created for the contest i.e. new art (on the off chance that you get a theme for which you've already done something in the past~)

Judging will be by mods of both clubs, but if they enter, they cannot vote for themselves and therefore have a disadvantage

Don't worry - we'd prefer to give away the prizes to our members. We’ll be looking for fun, humour, technique, imagination, etc.

Even though entries are unlimited, any one person can only place for one prize. (we'll mention any others if they would have placed, though). So that means that five separate people will be getting prizes!
