Important Points:
- One of the most anticipated impacts of such a common “high-quality aptitude test” for admission to the central universities is that it will provide a common platform for evaluation of the merit of a student. Universities like Delhi are well known to set high cut-offs, which leads to students securing even more than 95% marks ineligible for admission.
- Students must not assume that the new CUET will eliminate the weightage of class 12 marks entirely when it comes to admission for undergraduate courses.
- Delhi University will consider the marks of CUET.

CUET 2022 Test Practice Centers
There are 500 cities in India and 14 places abroad where the CUET 2022 exam centers are placed. Before the release of the CUET admit card 2022, the NTA provided an advance intimation slip on July 11 that included information about the candidate’s exam center city, state, and exam schedule. When filling out the CUET application form, candidates had to select up to four cities as their desired CUET exam locations. NTA made an effort to place their chosen exam city’s CUET 2022 center there. On their admit card, they received information regarding the exam center they were assigned. Due to technical issues, some exam venues were unexpectedly changed or cancelled.
Candidates who will appear for the CUET exam may face issues as it may be the first time they will take the computer-based exam. To help such candidates, NTA has developed a massive network of CUET Test Practice Centers. This will help candidates get used to the interface and relieve exam pressure. This is one of the great moves from the NTA for the second-class city and village students.
- Test practice centers will give you an actual exam interface.
- You get used to the log-in, navigating, etc.

Colleges Participating in CUET
The CUET is the required entrance examination for higher education institutions created by an Act of Parliament and governed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. To ensure that all states were represented, the Central Universities Act, enacted by Parliament in 2009, paved the door for establishing 16 additional Central Universities.
Currently, a nationwide admission exam called the Common University Entrance Test is used by 44 Central Universities and 28 other Universities to admit students into their undergraduate, graduate, and integrated program (CUET). Recently, the executive councils of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, agreed that all Undergraduate (UG) program admissions from the Academic Session 2022–2023 are handled through CUET. From the 2022-2023 academic session, many central universities and colleges will accept the CUET score. To help candidates, we have provided the list of CUET Colleges/Universities for UG admission.
