SSC JE Qualification
The minimum educational qualification for SSC JE civil/ mechanical/ electrical is a diploma or B.Tech degree in the relevant fields. Candidates must have obtained their degree certificates on or before 2 September 2023 to fill SSC JE application form.

Percentage Required for SSC JE
As per SSC JE eligibility, there is no percentage criteria that candidates must meet in order to apply for the exam. Candidates should only ensure that they have completed their course and obtained their degree/diploma certificate. The officials have not set any percentage limit in SSC JE eligibility.
SSC JE Age Limit 2023
The age limit for SSC JE is between 30 and 32 years, depending on the position applied for as on 1 January 2023. SSC JE Nationality
Candidates must check the national section before submitting the application form. They must satisfy any of the SSC JE nationality clauses provided below:
- Either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- A Tibetan refugee came to India before 1 January 1962 to stay permanently in India.
- An Indian who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
- A candidate shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
- An applicant for whom a certificate of eligibility is required may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of employment will not be made until the applicant has received the required eligibility certificate from the Government of India.

Candidates are provided with some important information regarding SSC JE eligibility criteria. They must be aware of the following points to prevent any problem during the recruitment process.
- All the candidates must note that the candidates should not have more than one living wife or more than one husband when he/she is already married. Such marriage will be accepted under personal law only.
- Only male candidates can apply for the post of Junior Engineer in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
- The date of birth entered by the candidate in the online application form and the date of birth as entered in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age, and no subsequent request for its modification will be considered or permitted. will be given.
- Candidates seeking appointment on the basis of reservation to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD, etc. must have a caste/community certificate.
