Detailed JIPMAT Exam Pattern & Selection Process 2022
The JIPMAT conducting authorities (IIM-Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya) have decided on the following exam pattern for JIPMAT 2022. As the exam will be conducted for the first time, it is crucial to understand the paper pattern in a comprehensive manner. The JIPMAT exam pattern 2022 includes all the details such as types of questions asked marking scheme, weightage distribution, and more.
JIPMAT is the acronym for Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test and is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for aspirants to get admission to IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya’s IPM course. Integrated Program in Management or IPM is a unique, innovative, and complete course that is available for eligible students who have completed their Higher Secondary/XIIth Standard from any school in the previous year.
In the whole selection process, the marks secured in JIPMAT have 60% of weightage for IIM Jammu and 70 % for IIM Bodh Gaya Check the detailed exam pattern and selection process below.
JIPMAT Exam Pattern 2022: IIM Jammu & Bodh Gaya
Check JIPMAT Exam pattern contains three sections. The exam pattern is applicable for both IIM Jammu and IIIM Bodh Gaya.
- The JIP MAT is conducted in online mode (Computer-Based Test or CBT).
- There is a negative marking. One (01) mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

JIPMAT Selection Process: Stage-wise Weightage
The criteria for preparing the JIPMAT merit list for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya are mentioned below. The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the composite score comprising the weightage of JIPMAT score, academic profile of class 10th and 12th, and gender diversity as follows:

Phases of JIPMAT 2022 Selection Procedure
There are three stages of the JIPMAT 2022 selection procedure phases. Any candidate who has finished Class 12 or is about to finish can fill the application. IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya will not provide admission to candidates simply on the basis of clearing JIPMAT 2022. Rather, all candidates must meet the following criteria of the other two phases to get a call from IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya for the five years BBA and MBA integrated program.
Phase 1 – Registration of Candidates
Before filling the application form candidates had to verify the eligibility criteria of JIPMAT 2022. Only eligible candidates will be permitted to appear for the aptitude test (AT).
Phase 2 – JIPMAT 2022 Exam
On the basis of applications, National Testing Agency in collaboration with IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya calls eligible candidates to appear for JIPMAT 2022 i.e. the Joint IPM aptitude test. JIPMAT 2022 exam schedule will be released soon.
JIPMAT 2022 is an aptitude test at the conclusion of which applicants will be given (under the Dual Degree Programme) Bachelor of Business Administration BBA (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya.
Phase 3 – JIPMAT Final List
IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya will publish a category-wise final merit list as part of the selection procedure of JIPMAT 2022. The merit list shall be based on the aggregate score as mentioned below.

JIPMAT Syllabus 2022
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension Questions will be asked to test the basic understanding of the English language. Reading Comprehension – Questions will be asked to test the ability to comprehend, interpret and infer from the given passage. The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension portion consist of:
