Quinn Meinerz's outdoor workouts are the best thing you'll watch today

The Denver Broncos found a gem in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft. The Broncos picked offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz, a guard/center who dominated opponents at Wisconsin-Whitewater and then put on an impressive performance at the Senior Bowl, raising his draft stock.

Meinerz has fans in Denver buzzing, but it’s not just because of his on-field highlights. The 22-year-old offensive lineman has posted amazing footage online showing him finding unique ways to train outdoors.

The Broncos’ social media team joked that his workouts looked like footage from “Rocky IV.”

Meinerz is well on his way to becoming a fan favorite.

The versatile offensive lineman can play both guard and center. His primary position in Denver is to-be-determined.

“We’ll cross-train him,” Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Friday evening. “We’ll start him off somewhere and let him get his feet wet — get grounded.

“But eventually, we need guys that can play center and guard. As your offseason develops and training camp goes on, you see and feel where those needs are, and if we have to get him to that second position quickly, we will.”
