Rigorously accumulated, carefully preserved and meticulously cataloged, the theater collection at Casa de las Américas in Havana is a unique paper treasure. Amassed in over six decades, it is a source of immeasurable value for students and researchers as well as journalists, critics and cultural managers. The collection covers not only Cuba but the whole of Latin America and the Caribbean and even beyond.
New PSO: Transatlantic Relations Online: Digital Archives of the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies
In order to make its materials available to a larger audience, the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies, in cooperation with Brill, has recently started digitizing some of its most prominent holdings. The digital archive is organized into the expanding online archival family Transatlantic Relations Online: Digital Archives of the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies and comprises more than 200,000 scans.
New PSO: Warfare in North America, c. 1756-1815
This collection makes available a wide selection of original documents held at The National Archives, London, concerning warfare in North America from the Seven Years War (1754-1763), the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783), to the War of 1812 (1812-1815). This large collection of primary source documents offers a unique perspective on the British view of the period, which saw a turbulent transition of the North American colonies from British rule to fully-fledged independence.
