As the owner of the charging point, you have the liberty to decide the “Price Per Unit Energy Consumed” while setting up your charging station. You can add the ‘Cost Per Unit’ you pay to your local electricity provider followed by the ‘Price Per Unit’ you would charge the users who are booking your charger.
Bolt.Earth lets EV and non-EV users earn passive income, mark your charger "Public" via our Bolt.Earth app and share it with other EV users. This makes Bolt.Earth charging points a fantastic investment opportunity for those seeking an additional source of passive income.
  1. Public Paid: Available for public, visible on map, pay and use to charge.
  2. Public Free: Available for public, visible on map, and don't have to pay.
  3. Private: Only the host can charge the EV, not available for public, not visible on the map.

  4. Scroll Down and Click on "End Session"

On the Bolt.Earth app, go to 'Account' on the bottom right corner. Click on 'My Chargers' and then click on 'Add New Charger'. Fill the necessary information and click on 'Submit'.

Please clear the user data and cache memory and login using the email ID or phone number used during the set up of the account. You can also enter the Charger ID manually by clicking on 'Enter Charger ID' on the scan page. The issue should be resolved.

You can try doing the following steps:

  1. Check if the charger is inserted properly.
  2. Check if the MCB (Power supply) is ON.
  3. Kindly reach customer support for more help.

  5. Click SYNC Booking Data
  6. Scan the QR code from the charger
  7. Wait near the charger until the process gets completed.

  2. Scan the QR code from the charger
  3. Add/Select your Vehicle type
  4. Select the Vehicle
  5. Select the Duration
  6. Click on Start Charging
  7. Wait for the device to get updated
  8. Click on "Start Charging".

Now the charger is booked, and your vehicle should be getting charged.

Using the Bolt.Earth app, you can go to Charger > Click on the GPS locator. Now you will be able to see all the chargers in the location.

Alternatively, you can go to Locate EV Charger on the web for the same.

  2. Enter the location in the search box at the top
  3. Click on Search from the keyboard.

Now you will be able to see all the chargers in a specific location.

  2. Select Filters from the top right corner
  3. Turn on the toggle of "Available Charger"

Now you will be able to see the available chargers on the screen.

  5. Select the "Connector Type"

Now you will be able to see the available compatible chargers on the screen.

The Bolt.Earth charging point does not consume energy. It is used to dispense energy, which in turn depends on the load attached. The energy is calculated by the device and is shown on the app. The maximum power the charging point can dispense is 3.3kW at 220-240V.
Actual power consumption can be higher or lower than the estimation as it’s a continuous process towards perfection and we are working on it! However, the actual charges will be updated post syncing the data based on the actual power consumption. Kindly sync the data to know the actual consumption.
