Roaster's Notes
This coffee hails from the North Sumatra province and its coffee has been historically referred to as “Mandheling” coffee as opposed to the southern Sumatra coffee which is referred to as “Lintong” coffee. Sumatra coffees are prized for their bold, full body and spicy herbal flavors. Because of volcanic soil and the unique semi-washed method of processing, the coffees vary greatly from the fully washed coffees from Central America.
