The media is an indispensable player for sustainable development and peace building. Yet, the levels of impunity and rising cases of violations against journalists and media workers erodes the rights to freedom of expression and opinion, access to information, assembly and association.
The AU Private Sector Forum has held several forums, with key recommendations emerging from the 11th ,12th, 13th, and 14th sessions. These recommendations provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the African private sector and offer guidance for policymakers on how to support its growth and development.
Extra-Ordinary Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Agriculture, Rural Development Water and Environment (ARDWE)
This event is crucial in fostering cross-border cooperation, sharing best practices, and developing comprehensive strategies to strengthen law enforcement and the rule of law across the continent. Participants will include representatives from law enforcement, customs, judiciary, and international organizations such as INTERPOL, UNODC, AFRIPOL, and other key stakeholders working in drug control and crime prevention.
