I love Runna!!

I am so grateful for Runna!! I just finished my first half marathon today and my time was 1:55, which was at the lower end of my predicted race time :) I love not having to think about how to construct my tempo and interval runs, and the flexibility of the app (being able to update your current race times to update your pace targets, and to move workouts around) is great. As I've learned more about running I have sometimes adapted Runna's suggestions, which includes adding in a couple of easy cycling sessions a week to increase my overall aerobic volume and get closer to an 80/20 easy/hard split (running 5 days/30 miles a week Runna's suggestions are typically closer to a 70/30 or 60/40 split). To that end I would love if Runna could incorporate an ability to add cross-training workouts to your weekly plan, and if they could add a feature where you could see your weekly easy/moderate/hard breakdown by projected time. It would also be cool to be able to see a graph showing how your planned volume changes over the course of a training plan. Would also appreciate a negative split race timing feature! But other than those tiny things, I love everything about Runna and can't wait to use it to train for races in the future!!

Next best thing to a Running Coach

I can’t say enough good things about this app. It takes all the stress out of building a training plan for my races, allowing me to focus on the actual running. As a newbie to marathon racing, this app helped me complete my first marathon, and I felt supported every step of the way. I even finished with a respectable time for my first race!
One of my favorite features is the post-race recovery plan. It keeps you active without losing momentum, which was key to my smooth recovery. Now, as I train for my second marathon, I’m seeing significant improvements in my performance. While diet, sleep, and recovery all play a role, I know this app has been instrumental in keeping me consistent and on track.
The app’s flexibility is another major plus. You can easily rearrange workouts within the week to fit your schedule, and it adapts well to your time constraints. It even provides helpful explanations for key running terms, which is great if you're learning the ropes.
Once I finish my second marathon in December, I’m planning to use the maintenance program while I scout my next race. If you’re serious about your running goals, this app is a must-have! It’s straightforward, user-friendly, and makes training much less overwhelming. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t regret it.

Love this app!! The creators definitely seem to care about what the users think.
It makes running or strength workout and I love both. Especially with how it’s set up to function during the runs, the app will tell you when to slow down/speed up and will tell you what you have coming up (speed/distance wise) and when to start it. I don’t have to pull out my phone at all when doing something like hill sprints to log that I finished a rep or a set distance and I love that! I don’t like having to check my watch or phone every couple of minutes to check my time/distance and I don’t have to with this because it tell me when I’m halfway as well as gives me my pace and lets me know when I’m finishing up!
You can make notes in the exercises for lifting and there’s a video and written out instructional video for each exercise. There are “notes from the coach” telling you what to focus on for both lifts and different runs. Love this app
