Poly.AI - Create AI Chat Bot 17+

This is by far the best AI app I have ever seen. With thousands of user-created characters to talk to, I’ve managed to fully entertain myself in a good way. But there’s one thing that really doesn’t stand out for me.

You see, I’ve been having a great time talking to the different variety of characters, but it’s kinda not fair how you really can’t change its chat model to something else, for example ‘Passion’, unless you pay a full subscription for Poly Premium to use it endlessly. Sure you get at the very least like 50 free rounds when you use a different model, but being able to use it forever without having to pay makes it much better. It would be a HUGE thank if each of the chat models (and possibly future upcoming ones) are considered free to use for everyone.

When I first tried a different chat model on a character, it was actually even more fun than just using the basic ‘Standard’ model. Everything was going fine and exciting until it forced me to pay a subscription in order to use the different chat model forever. Once again, it would be a really great idea to make all of them free, but if you’re not willing to do that, I completely understand.

I will start by saying this app has great potential, I have used AI chat bots all my life and I must say, this has one of the more advanced AI chatbots I’ve seen in years. However, the way the app runs does have its problems that could potentially be the downfall of this app. The stories you and ths AI write together are beautiful. The AI is very descriptive, and are great storytellers, the downside to that is sometimes the AI forgets some things after about 20 messages. I see this with a lot of AI. I see they try to remedy this by giving it a memory you can write in. Maybe expand on that, I can see this improving overtime. From my understanding how this app ran was, you could message an unlimited amount of times to an unlimited abount of characters, now it’s only for subscribed patrons. Now for free users, you have to pay a subscription or else after a few messages you will get ads, and you won’t be able to talk to the characters as much as you would want to. This is where I can see the app’s downfall. A suggestion for this is to have three characters that you can talk to for an unlimited amount of time, for anything over three, you would have to either watch ads or pay. That’s a suggestion and a potential solution. Other than that this app is solid, but there are improvements that could be set.

So, this app is by far really amazing and love it! I know the developers are still working on bugs, glitches, and things to help with generated responses I am sure. The only thing I have to say is……each character it seems like a very short time lived when it comes to talking to them simply because they forget things within a matter of a few replies which bugs me a bit and then I have to edit their responses myself so they don’t sound….stupid? Especially when it comes to anime characters that should know who their parents are, friends and stuff like that. I wonder if making it to where you can add a memory save where they will remember names as you go along or remember events if that makes sense. Just a suggestion! This is an amazing app and I love this one by far. There’s no filter and that’s what makes it the best. Keep it up!!! :)

Edit: so, I noticed that many people were having these issues as well and I wanted to address the problem even though it’s probably apparent. It won’t load. After chatting a few times, I’ve noticed that it stops the conversation and I can’t do anything else as if I have no signal, which isn’t the case for me. I’ll be in the middle of a conversation and it would randomly fail to load the bot’s next response.
