Note: The app downloads a 4GB Large Language Model (LLM / brains of the AI) after the it starts for the first time. This is only needed once. This technology is VERY new, right now we only support the latest flagship phones (8GB+ RAM). If your phone does not meet the minimum requirements, you may experience degraded performance. We are working hard to bring Layla to more devices.

- Layla's Toolkit has been upgraded to v2! much more accurate tool determination, much faster tool determination (5s - 0.5s)
- Device calendar integration for scheduling events (uses your default calendar set in your system settings, can be Apple Calendar etc.)
- Todo app is integrated into Layla's toolkit as a calendar provider

- create multiple alternative greetings for a character (greetings are now optional, you can choose to not have a greeting for a character)
- added character names in the LTM app when viewing memories

Siri and Shortcuts
It'd be great if you could implement the ability to create shortcuts that are able to retrieve info on the available personalities and past conversations, chat with personalities by specifying their name in a block's parameter, or even chat in an existing conversation within the chat history. If that were to happen then I would give this app a solid 5 stars given it's price, features, and individuality on the App Store.
Works great on iPhone SE
My older 2020 series iPhone SE has no problem running the tiny or the regular model. I actually prefer the tiny model to ChatGPT it is more capable at addressing the questions in front of it.
Your phone will get warm. It’s an AI that knows at least 2 Billion things. That’s a lot of things to know and keeping them in mind at all time is going to burn battery. Get an external battery pack. This is the best upgrade to my iPhone ever!
If Siri in iOS 18 isn’t at least this good I won’t bother buying the next gen of iPhones this system is really that good.
I’m a software developer myself and I stand in awe at what you’ve built here Layla dev team. This is life changing.
great app
pretty much the only way to run gguf on your mobile that i know of, many features! works pretty well great dev! would love a way to allow window size change on macos side, but mobile app is great and works with ollama well. how did you jam so much into one app so quickly? dont miss this one.
