John Hancock Vitality 12+

Good motivation

I like the vitality program since it rewards me for things I already do. It’s good motivation to stay on track with my workouts and other healthy activities. I do wish I could link from other apps besides the ones currently offered. For example, I have a fitness tracking app I like much better than Polar flow, but I can’t link it directly to vitality to earn points. Likewise I use a different mindfulness app (not headspace) so I can’t get credit for time spent meditating.
The other issue I’ve had with the app is login problems. My account gets locked and then I have to go find my policy number and call in to get it unlocked.
So overall I like the vitality app, I use it almost every day. With a few enhancements it could be 5 stars.

This app has been working so much better since the most recent update and it looks like all of my previous issues have been addressed and fixed.

I have been using this app for 4 years and it used to work perfectly. Over the last 6 months however everything has been going downhill. The app has stopped giving me credit for half of my workouts and won’t show any of my points accrued over the last month to go toward my Apple Watch payment. I have been on the phone with customer support way too many times over the last couple of months and it just seems like the app is having one problem after another. I have loved the program and have told a number of people to join because if it but I expect the app to work better than it is right now. Please fix this so I stop getting charged incorrectly for my Apple Watch.

Love it!

I have been using this app for about two months now along with my Apple Watch it has been a great incentive to start moving! It usually takes about a day for my points to update accurately from my watch. It is filled with lots of great health information for me to read and get points. I love that! Just the other day I was able to watch a webinar about the dietary guidelines for 50 pts. It was very informative. It also contains meal planning ideas, you can set goals for yourself as well as earn points for your doctor visits. It’s a very put together app and I love the fact that not only am I getting reasonable life insurance for my family I’m also taking steps to improve my health as well. Thank you for developing this app and keep up the great work!
