More than just a dating app, Tinder has been updated to become one of the most engaging, fun and social apps around. Of course, finding matches is still a huge highlight—but with smart group chats, an awesome Apple TV app and Super Likes to go around, we’re swiping right on this one.
Tinder is a double-edged sword.
Tinder is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the app provides a convenient platform for meeting new people and easily finding potential partners or friends. The interface is simple and intuitive, and the ‘Super Like’ feature helps highlight someone you really like. Thanks to Tinder, I was able to meet several interesting people, leading to pleasant conversations and even relationships.
However, on the other hand, the app has its drawbacks. Fake profiles and bots are common, making it harder to find real people. Many users are only interested in short-term encounters, which can be problematic if you’re looking for a serious relationship. Paid features like ‘Tinder Gold’ don’t always justify their cost, as they don’t significantly improve match quality. Ultimately, Tinder can be a useful tool for meeting people, but it requires patience and caution.
They can ban you for no reason
Whoever wants to try Tinder, please, be careful with this app. At some point in time it can ban you without any explanation or reason.
In my case, I haven’t used the app for almost a year and decided to return to it. Despite the fact that I didn’t have a conversation with any user during this time, haven’t uploaded any inappropriate images or have done anything else that would break the terms of use, they still banned me FOREVER. After several attempts to contact the support team, all I got was their “we don’t know what happened but we can’t help you”. Really?! So, you can just ban me without explaining anything?!
Tinder, you better get rid off this support team that doesn’t know how to work properly, lacks professionalism and doesn’t put ANY effort. I have made a premium subscription and was enjoying the application for a long time up until today. Hope that you will lose more users so that maybe one day you will learn how to deal properly with your customer. My advice for all potential customers: don’t waste your time on this app, there are many more reliable ones like Badoo that maybe not as convenient, but at least they won’t ban you for no reason and steal your money.
