The support system is very helpful, but l think there is something wrong with the application when picking location. Im in Split and l ordered the food, selected use my location or track my location as the option but surprisingly it picked a wrong address back in Slovakia which is not even my default address. Its the address I don’t even know. Im happy support helped me with a refund and now I know Bolt food is not available in Croatia. 😊

I don’t know how it is in other countries, but in Slovakia, Bolt Food only guarantees that your order will be delivered. They do not take responsibility for whether the order is actually edible or if it is even complete. They claim to be just intermediaries between the customer and the restaurant, but if you have a problem with the food, they tell you to contact the restaurant, not them. What kind of intermediaries are they then?

Recently, I had an experience where I ordered ramen from a restaurant, but what arrived was just water with broth, and even that was spoiled. Bolt Food responded by saying that they are not responsible for the food being spoiled and that I should contact the restaurant. When I pointed out that what I received was not ramen, they also told me they don’t guarantee the quality of the order and that I should contact the restaurant.

How is it that they charge the same fees for services and delivery as their competitors but take no responsibility? I've had similar issues with competitors, but they resolved the problems and even refunded my money as compensation. I’m leaving this app and switching to the competition.

Ordered a pick up. Estimated time, 30 minutes. Time after ordering, 1 hour. That wasn’t going to work for me as intended. First issue, the app didn’t even ask if it’s okay with me, that the real time is way longer than the estimated time. I called the restaurant if they started the order. They said no, so I asked if they could cancel it since there is no option for me to do so. That is the second issue, why can’t accepted orders be cancelled if both parties agree. The restaurant told me to contact support. I did. The “customer support” was an AI, that couldn’t help me or explain why it can’t help me. No telephone number or a way to contact a real human. That is the third issue. Well I hoped that I could at least add a delivery to my order. Sadly no, which isn't an issue, but it would surely help in this situation. All in all these are issues that a multibillion dollar company shouldn’t have.
