godd idea but the waiting mecanic is bad, why do i have to wait until i make my "virus" or upgrading something. the main gameplay would fit with an rts but not an idle mobile like game rather a pc game where nobody would make idle mechanics in rtpgs and strategy games

Thanks for the feedback RiderKill. Viruses that are carbon-copies of each other would be well known, and therefore deleted the moment a network detected them! Instead, the Compiler node creates a unique algorithm for each of your programs, allowing them to bypass detection and be installed on a node. For ease of use however, all compiled programs of a similar type are displayed under the same icon.

Network admins will also need to deal with nodes being offline while upgrading! This adds additional gameplay elements, allowing attackers to take advantage of offline nodes that are disrupting a network. As an admin however, make sure you redesign your network to ensure that hackers don't exploit this weakness!
