scammers stole my card details on the new Vinted App
fraudsters stole my card details by asking for my email address, and then sending a mail from Vinted, stole my card details. and then Vinted deleted the history of correspondence with fraudsters so that I did not have time to take screenshots. I do not recommend the new Vinted to anyone. my data from old Vinted APP is not transferred, there is no protection against spam and phishing, there is no data security, the help center does not respond and does not help. I have been using Vinted for 4 years but after that I will delete my new profile in a new app and never go back there again. you don't value your users, you just make money on it.
Scam
disgusting involvement of technical support in solving emerging problems. I tried so many times to get to the truth, but I never received an answer about the documented basis on which I was required to provide an identity document (for data verification) issued by the country in which I use the Vinted service. After all, the user agreement only states the need to provide valid documents, without any mention that these documents must be issued by the country in which the person uses the Vinted service. But technical support specialists insisted that the financial provider requests documents confirming my presence in the country from which I use the application, despite the fact that there is not a word about this obligation in any user agreement. (please kindly correct me if I'm wrong). technical support specialists mostly communicate in standard phrases and their involvement in my case is not felt. As for the app, I'm still not thrilled. the mobile version starts to slow down if I start browsing more than 100 search results. the web version does not display search results if a large number of brands are selected in the filter.
deleting opinions
I canceled the order because the seller didnt respond to messages and i got 1 star opinion.
Next thing. I got again opinion from woman who accepted thing when she got and posted in opinion lies that thing was dirty, used etc.
Posting is also hard. I have to wait 15 minutes for vinted consent. I have Adidas crop top what i wanted sell for 25PLN (is like 5€). I have bought it a few years ago, and tag is washed and i hard to show that is authentic.
And the biggest problem for Sellers and buyer are scammers. U sent good item someone can brake, cut and anyone care that u sent good, U must give money back, also if this person send u back destroyed thing. Also if seller sent bad thing someone can say that buyer did this. But I have good idea about it. Let's add rule about making videos if u wanna refuse this what u bought and add people to work about it (not bots🤖 ).
I heard about situation when one person lost 100€ when sold Nike shoes and buyer destroyed them and Seller was Left of shoes and money.
