Why is this a separate app?

I have not had a problem with the bikeshare itself, but I have several problems with the app.
For starters, if the idea was to create a unified system between public transport and bike-sharing, why is Metrorower a separate app when it could’ve been integrated into Transport GZM? What a waste of money.

And speaking of money, the payment options in the app make little sense: There seems to be no way to add more or less than 10zł to one’s account. And as soon as you’ve taken your first trip under 30mins and the balance drops to 9zł, you have to pay another 10zł in order to ride again, because someone arbitrarily decided that 9zł is the minimum balance to rent a bike. I can understand the desire to ensure enough money to pay for one’s trip, but then why not simply allow users to link a credit card instead of (only) using the app wallet?

I don’t have any statistics, but I’m willing to guess that the vast majority of users’ rides cost under 5zł. To require almost double that is rather silly—especially when new users just want to try it out once or twice. Whilst two <30min rides may only cost 2zł, the way the app is set up essentially forces you to pay 10x more. That may be fine for locals intent on biking regularly, but I can’t imagine many visitors finding the offer attractive.

Just my name🙂 ,

Disaster.

It’s not working, even though I paid. The QR codes are not working.

Aplikacja i sama usługa w ogóle nietransparentna.
