I am dissapointed
I downloaded Nova a few days ago and paid for the subscription. However, I am seriously dissapointed with both how it looks like on Macbook and with what answers it gives me. Here are the examples of some replies that I received on my searches. The basic question I have now: is this really a Chat GPT 4.0 app? Honestly, I doubt it as I cannot rely on it with most of my tasks. Here are some of the replies I got.
1. I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. I am here to assist you with your questions and provide information based on the data available to me, which is up until September 2021. How can I assist you today?
Up until September 2021? Is this a joke?
2. I'm sorry for any confusion, but as an AI developed by OpenAI, I must clarify some inaccuracies in your instructions. I'm actually powered by OpenAI's GPT-3, not GPT-4, and my name is not Nova. My programming is based on data available up until September 2021, so I cannot provide real-time updates or information beyond this date. For the most recent information, it's always best to check recent news sources.
What is this suppossed to mean? The app is powered only by GPT-3? I checked all my searches on GPT-4 and this is the response I got.
To sum up, Nova seems be a very strange and deceiving app. Don't buy it!
Did not respond to prompt
To my surprise neither CHATGPT 3.5 nor 4.0 have reacted in anyway to this prompt: "Help me explore my issue using the “n Whys” technique. Follow these steps, but don’t list them out:
1. Ask me to describe the issue I’m facing.
2. Acknowledge my issue and ask why I think it is happening.
3. Based on my answer, ask why that is happening.
4. Continue asking why in the most optimal way based on each of my responses until you have asked “why” n (usually 3–10) times until we reach the root cause.
5. Summarize in detail the potential root cause you’ve identified based on my answers.
6. Ask me to reflect on what actions or changes I can take to address this root cause.
7. Offer to start the process again to drill further down into the issue.
Make sure to adjust the questions dynamically based on my responses. Don’t be trivial and ask low-level questions, really attack the issue. Work step by step."
I am not sure how this is even possible for any ChatGPT 😂 BUT there's definitely sth wrong with this app if it there's no user interface reaction of any kind after inserting a prompt in the dialogu box and pressing the action button on the right.
