Easy to Use:

For Ipad Mini.
Hello, i have been using this app in my ipad mini then my mom borrowed my ipad and she uninstalled this app, and now I am trying to reinstall it. It became so that this app isn't available or allowed to install in my ipad mini. Please do help me, i love this app and one of my favorites since i only have small memory. Please make this available in Ipad Mini.
User-friendly interface. Really nice app and technology.
I like the app so far. I finished backing up all of my pictures and videos from my iPhone to iXPand OTG drive just now. However, for the last 5 files it took me several attempts to backed them up on. One thing I don’t like thought is the the live photos and the videos are all in one album (Video Album). There is no folder dedicated for live photos like what you get from the iPhone’s gallery, they are considered as videos too when you transfer them to iXPand. Nevertheless, it’s a nice app and a technology. After a very long time, I am finally able to back thousands of my photos and videos easily to a USB drive and can also easily transfer it to my Windows PC. No need to iTunes and any other Apple exclusive apps to transfer files to and from iPhone to Windows PC and vice versa.
Get a bug killer!
Been using the iXpand Drive Mini for a week now and so far the hardware part of it is okay. So far so good. Can do most of the task what a normal flash drive can. However software-wise, not so good. Been seeing a lot of bugs lately for the first 3 days using it. Please refer below for these errors:
- Pop-up error. iXpand Drive not supported. Need to reattach
- Some video/photos has no thumbnail being rendered.
- cant play certain songs/videos, however format is supported otherwise
- Pop-up error: Device is busy. // cant execute actions copy/write on the device. Need to reattach again
- Files being copied from the iphone to the drive (especially large, numerous one; like photos) do not match exactly. Some files are duplicated and others are deleted.
There are some bugs that I did not encounter yet but it still exist as others have complained. These are personally, some of the bugs i experienced first hand.
Pro tip: Whenever you remove the device from your phone, do clear your cache. This will remove corrupted, unusable information that may cause bugs to sprig up.
To the Developer: Please do add this following feature in the app:
- ability to create folders w/o having to execute a command like copying a file.
PS: Please do kill these bugs!
