It’s okay for emergency use but not recommended due to high interest and please don’t fall for the “Long Prolongation” because if you avail it para kang hindi nagbayad ng utang mo. In my case, may loan was 5K and I availed the prolongation to be extended for another 14 days, I paid 2K. From 5K, I need to pay 4.2K on the next due date because it was extended. See? Parang yung binayad mo 2K, walang nabawas sa original amount. Tapos hindi sila transparent sa Prolongation na ito. Walang calculation. Di ko rin mahanap sa website nila. Will not use again.

It is easy to get funds and they upgrade your loanable amount fast if you pay before due date. In my case, it was ₱600 the first time which I was shocked coz it was so small so I repaid it instantly (plus they don’t disclose how much is approved before you click accept - you will only know when it has been deposited to your account). After which they increased it immediately to ₱10,000.

However, this lender borders on harassment and I doubt if they even maintain data privacy as since I checked out this lender, I have had numerous callers / texters on my mobile. Moneycat themselves call me no less than 10x per day even if I had just taken a loan that day —- reminding me of when the payment is due. And they call on weekends and ungodly hours too.

Borrowers please do check the interest they compute in the app. Check the interest rate before clicking. I observed their anomaly in computation of interest, and when you raise the issue through FB Msgr they will advise you to pay the principal right away, and then when you do follow ups on the closure of account, they will tell you, the system did not accept the payment please add additional payment of this much to close the account… Poor system and most likely scamming people, because they won’t send the approved loan application, even if you asked several times. They don’t abide to the truth and lending act!
