Originally released in 2000, Final Fantasy IX set a new standard for the series—and it’s still astoundingly impressive. It’s a perfect blend of beloved RPG elements from previous entries and modernised battle encounters. As you make your way through the story’s twists and turns, you’ll encounter unforgettable characters, frighteningly powerful enemies and a wonderful fantasy world to explore.
Nice game but it lacks on graphic needs update to play too
I love this game good thing they jump from ff7 to ff9 been waiting for this a long time. Though it would be better if they made the background and the cut scene more detailed too
Improving the graphics (specifically BG)
The game looks fine and all, they even added features so that some people wouldn’t have to choose a pirated version of the game which have features including maximum level, GIL, and I think even damage? Random encounters can be turned off too if I’m right. Those are nice features for people here for the story, having an option to finish the game without the grind is a sure plus, even I find grinding a hassle sometimes, especially when the game forces it too much. In fact, if I may add- FFIV on its end game tends to become harder than preference wise. I’m about to finish the game but my equipments are the ones not on par. Hopingly FFIX won’t be the same in those aspects.
I’ve yet to fully play the game, since I’m trying to Finish FFIV first before continuing the game. Will update my review if appropriate.
