We believe in keeping it simple, no need for post-editing. With just one tap, you can capture the most authentic vintage photos or videos, letting you enjoy the moment without distractions.
Dazz camera is inspired by classic film cameras from the 80s. We’ve sampled real film stock to recreate the colors and textures of vintage photography. Dazz camera supports shooting in various retro film formats like 135 film, 120 film, toy cameras, slide film, half-frame cameras, instant camera, 3D film photography, disposable camera, and more.
Besides film photography, Dazz camera also offers modern digital camera color profiles, including compact camera, CCD camera, and we’re constantly adding more.
You can also capture videos with a retro vibe, using formats like 8mm film camera, 16mm film camera, VHS tape camera, DCR camera, movie camera, and slide projector.
We’re always rolling out new cameras, so keep an eye out!
When you’re capturing photos and videos, we’ve got some cool extra features and accessories for you:
- Save the negative and reprocess it to achieve different exposure and color temperature. (Available on select cameras)
- Double exposure effect by layering two photos.

- The ‘Original V’ camera supports shooting Log videos. It is only supported on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- Fixed the issue where ProRAW photos appeared very dark when taken with the ‘Original’ camera.

BEST RETRO CAMERA APP
The best retro camera app in my opinion. The quality is unmatched, and you aren’t forced to pay for things (tho there /is/ an option to pay for the other features, the free ones are just as good) although I gotta say I miss the old Inst C filter. I can’t help but notice that it’s changed to a more cooler/blue-ish tone. (Please correct me if I’m wrong) I just think that the previous version looked more realistic-as in the pictures looked more like polaroids in real life. Other than this, I have nothing else to say but GREAT APP! 10/10 would recommend.

The Vintage Camera App You’ve Been Looking For
So i’m personally obsessed with old and retro kind of thing and I started searching for camera apps at first, Huji and Gudak for example are the main retro or old app that can give you effects you want, but please take time to download this app this app is really really great and it deserves recognition, cameras are being updated constantly the app itself is being transformed quite awesome, so what’re you waiting for? download it and tell all your peers about this app!! ❤️

I spend half of my time shooting on the stock app and half on Dazz. The retro filters are just gorgeous and truly phenomenal. The way Dazz taps into the iPhone's image processing pipeline to intercept the raw photo data before the iPhone applies its aggressive oversharpening and HDR is just absolutely mindblowing. Heck, some of the shots I couldn't almost tell apart from those taken with my Fuji X100V unless I reaaallly pixel peep. The video filters are just as stunning too. Truly indispensable!
