Careem – rides, food & more 4+

I love careem, I used it everyday 2-3 times a day. I hope that in careem quick food delivery that they will issue a physical receipt/ hatd copy receipt as we are sending them to company accounts. It is hard to print receipt from email. Imagine i just bought 1 item and it takes 3 pages. Thank you and i hope they will see my request. I love careem.

This is not the 1st time I had problems with Careem delivery but tonight was especially frustrating. I ordered just 2 small items from Jollibee and after more than 1 hour waiting, the rider cancelled, claiming that he waited for too long. I called the Jollibee branch and apparently, the food is already prepared but the rider was not there. Jollibee tried calling Careem to discuss delivery but no pick up from Careem. It took me a long time to call Careem also but I was able to call and requested that a rider pick up the items since the food is ready. They keep on insisting that I just order again. At this point, it has been over 2 hours since we ordered, so placing another order will mean 1 more hour, maybe more. Jollibee and I decided to just put an order worth 3aed with ZOMATO and they will add the Careem orders free of charge. That is what you call great service from Jollibee! Even their call center called me several times when I missed a call while I was talking to Careem. But for Careem, they will stick to their manuals, including their robotic call center agents, and will never do anything to make things easier for their customers. I’ve been ordering through Zomato in the past months after several issues with Careem but tonight, I made a mistake of using Careem. NEVER AGAIN. I am disabling my Careem app once for all. Anyway, Zomato is doing well and I always use Uber for transpo anyway.

It was my first time to use the delivery option in careem app. It was the worst experience ever. Never again! I had to buy a food with one of my friends in Al Quoz so I know how much it will be. But the careem pickup driver put on the app that the amount is 150 instead of a 100. Worst thing I was following the driver thru the real time location, he was going to so many places after receiving the food to think that the food was still hot. He even told me in the end that the Al Khail road was closed (I asked my sister if this was true and she said it was not close at that time) that time so he had to take a longer route. It was not a longer route, because he had to go to Dubai Hills. Imagine? And because of that he charged me double for the delivery service. I called the customer service but until now I am not refunded for the overcharging. Very crappy service!
