I see a lot of 1 star reviews and that looks like bugs that were patched now.

The app works perfectly, it’s intuitive, love the colour scheme and how easy it is for me to see my leave balances, have the ability to view my timesheets AND email them to myself! No need to talk to HR anymore when the bank needs my payslips for a loan lol.

been 4 years using smartpayroll/smartly but i have finally had it with the new software needs a lot of work and not worth it after the price increases. Constant lag and freezing for employers and employees, the loading circle appears and constantly not doing anything so you got to keep re logging in. Then the screens don't allow you to scroll left or right so you can see the rest of the table or see where the buttons are at the bottom. Then the new timesheet layout does'nt let you copy last weeks hours over or provide an easy option to spread hours across to other days without having to manually type each figure into each day. Everything is done manually it very tedious and mind numbingly impractical.

I have 11 staff and have been trying app for about 6 weeks. At first, it was awful with the classic issue of needing to be uninstalled and reinstalled continuously. We persevered because the theory of this products suits our purposes so well. We now have significantly less issues of getting stuck on the loading screen. One employee has occasional issues, another has constant issues, the rest really like it. So we will likely persevere a little longer and see if it resolves. Thanks to smartly customer service staff for always being amazing. 5star helpline. Hopefully the app can be further developed and fixed.
