It’s okay.
The new version of the app is good, and I do love being able to order my daughter her special lunch, however it does annoy me that there is a “card service fee” on top of the 2.5% merchant fee, which means our weekly purchase incurs 8.12% in fees to pay by card… odd, given there is also a service fee before you get to that stage.
Looks so much nicer!
This app is SO much better now. It’s pretty and easy to use. Makes ordering lunches really easy and I can see all of the fees that I need to pay which takes the burden of keeping track of all school payments away!
Much better…
Much cleaner though still has challenges:
Authentication: requires email+password to activate FaceID/TouchID/PIN but doesn’t save them in iCloud Keychain & forgets after update.
Payment: great that it has Apple Pay but this should be immediately accessible for top up, not nested in credit cards.
